Anyone who’s been reading this (or other) sites for long enough knows that I’m not a designer, I’m a coder. This is especially true when it comes to my own site. There was the ugly beginning (a moment of silence for heli0s.net, please). Then there was some crap that I added DHTML to. 2004 brought the near-disaster that was v6.

v7 and v8 came along. I liked both, and still think v8 has some promise to it. There’s nothing specifically wrong with the current design, other than the width needing to be extended 100 pixels or so. It might just be time to go back to an older design.

I’ve always been quite jealous of others’s websites for their design skills. At the same time, there is a strong desire to have the site be unique, at least aesthetically.
