I’ve been coding tonight. Real coding, not that HTML/CSS/JavaScript copy-and-paste stuff I’ve been telling myself is real coding. What I mean is, writing in Objective-C.
Of course, it’s approaching 4 on a Sunday morning, and minus a break to have a few drinks at Tina’s around 12:30, I’ve been writing this application since returning from Nick’s Pizza at 8:30 last night, finding out that Tom was not working. The idea for this app came out of a frustrated guitar-playing session where I tried to play along with a track in iTunes. No more details now, but if all goes well we’ll see a Memorial Day launch.
In other Memorial Day Weekend news, I haven’t been to work since Thursday, won’t be back ’till Tuesday, and don’t care one bit. Time off is good. Especially when it means going to the cathedral of St. John the Divine on Monday night with Laura, Emily and Kevin to see a free New York Philharmonic concert of Verdi and Tchaikovsky.
Back to the code. The NSLevelIndicator is ready, but the NSStatusItem isn’t.
